I just moved my family of four to North Cleveland Park neighborhood last month from Arkansas — where schools were hit or miss also, but at least property was cheap. But like you, I am passionate about my girls growing up in a diverse and exciting city like DC. I have one kid at Hearst Elementary and one at Deal Middle. I need to act fast to decide if I want to enter her into the lottery for high school. Any advice you can give is much appreciated.
