Our experience with Melissa Terzis, and every professional that she has brought into the process has been top notch. Sometimes I question myself about my own lofty standards and expectations. I’m a former Marine, and a former LAPD officer, and I rarely experience service lately that doesn’t make me want to apply some Drill Instructor taught choice expletives.

Someone who knows real estate from a business and industry standpoint, inside out, beyond what an agent typically knows, and advocates for your best interest above anyone else. Melissa Terzis is a great agent. She knows the business, answered questions in a prompt and knowledgeable manner, and even resolved an issue with our lender when we did not even ask. She was our champion through the entire process. Choosing Melissa was the best decision of our home-buying journey.

I first met Melissa in 2016 when she helped me find a rental in DC. I loved how candid she is and how she took my preferences to heart and helped me choose an apartment that ticked all my boxes. I asked her to help me find another rental and help my sister find a rental as well over a span of five years. When my family and I were ready to buy a place, I didn’t shop around for a Realtor – I knew Melissa would deliver.

She is EXCEPTIONAL – works around the clock (to the extent that my husband kept musing about whether she ever sleeps!). She made sure we found our forever home in under a month. What I love about Melissa is that she brings a disciplined, no-nonsense approach to the home search. I love that she points out what is wrong with a house (or what can go wrong in the future) regardless of the house’s price point. She works with fidelity and puts her clients’ needs first. Would work with her again 12 times out of 10!

I found Melissa online when researching family friendly neighborhoods during our relocation from Texas to NOVA. I loved her straightforward approach to discussing areas, schools, and the pros and cons of living in different places and we decided to use her as our realtor. We are so glad we did. Beyond being highly available and responsive- two incredibly important factors when buying in such a competitive area- Melissa was warm and patient with us as first time home buyers as we searched together for 8 months and learned what we wanted and how to win an offer in NOVA. Melissa’s a dream to work with, especially if you’re buying from out of the area. When we contacted her, she was on vacation. She could’ve passed us off to someone else and that would’ve been entirely reasonable, but she didn’t. We were moving to Virginia from Germany and Melissa dealt with our differing time zones easily. We had zoom meetings for the walk through and inspection without the slightest hiccup. Melissa put us in touch us with a great mortgage broker that handled our VA loan and got us a great rate as well as helping us get our insurance squared away. Melissa helped us in multiple ways and made a stressful time much less difficult. We highly recommend her.

We recently sold our home to Melissa’s clients, and she was a pleasure to work with throughout the entire process. Words cannot describe the level of dedication I experienced by Melissa Terzis in purchasing a short-sale property in March 2013. Short-sales in general can be pretty nerve-racking and exhausting having to wait months before the seller’s bank gets back to you with their decision on whether to approve or deny the sale.  All I can say is that I’m extremely fortunate to have had Melissa by my side. It has been 4 years since I closed on my property.
